Maram Daoud joined the European Institute of Peace (EIP) in 2020. He works as an Engagement and Dialogue Assistant, focussing mainly on projects in Yemen, Sudan and South Sudan. Prior to that, he worked at the Scandinavian Institute for Human Rights in Geneva as a Research Associate and Project Officer. He obtained a Master of Advanced Studies in “International and European Security” of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and the University of Geneva. He also holds an MA degree in “EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies” of the College of Europe in Bruges. He has extensive experience in political and civil society work related to the Syrian conflict. He speaks Arabic, English and French.
