Susana Zickert

Susana Zickert is an Engagement and Dialogue Assistant at the European Institute of Peace. She is part of the Latin America Programme and coordinates projects on Venezuela. She also oversees the Institute’s Sustainable Process Design Envelope. Since joining the Institute in 2019, Susana has covered EU-Turkey dialogue efforts, Afghanistan, Belarus and Israel-Palestine. She furthermore managed the relations with the Institute’s Board of Governors between 2019 and 2021.

Before joining the Institute, Susana worked at the Munich Security Conference, Inter Mediate in London and the Argentinian National Congress. She holds a master’s degree in “Religion and Global Politics” from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London and is an alumna of the Friedrich Ebert Academic Foundation. She speaks German, English and Spanish.
