Tina Kurath
Tina Kurath joined the European Institute of Peace (EIP) in November 2025 as Programme Officer in the Climate and Environmental Peacemaking Programme, focusing on initiatives in Somalia.
Prior to her role at the Institute, Tina held positions in the United Nations, non-governmental organisations and research platforms, focusing on peacebuilding, conflict sensitive approaches in humanitarian and recovery programming, and climate security, most recently in Ukraine and Somalia. She holds a MSSc in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University and a BSc in International Relations from the University of Geneva. Tina speaks German, English, and French, and has basic knowledge of Russian.
