Our people

Michał Szczerba is a Member of the European Parliament. He serves on the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Security and Defence, and is the EP’s Standing Rapporteur for the United States. He is also a former President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and Co-Chair of the Ukraine–NATO Interparliamentary Council. From 2007 to 2024, he was a Member of the Polish Parliament, representing the capital city of Warsaw and the Polish diaspora abroad.

He chaired the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee. Michał Szczerba is also the co-author of the book The Great Harvest: How PiS Stole Poland. He has been awarded the Georgian Order of Honor and the Medal of Merit by the Ukrainian Parliament.
