Keeping dialogue alive and building bridges across divides

20/10/2026

Last week, the European Institute of Peace, in collaboration with our civil society coalition the Kosovo Civic Alternative (KCA), brought together representatives of the four leading parliamentary groups in Kosovo’s Assembly, key international diplomats and civil society for another full-house edition of Dinner Talks. Warm thank you to our special guest and moderator, Edward P. Joseph!

The discussion explored challenges and opportunities for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration and ways to build greater political cohesion around shared strategic priorities. We will take this work forward through targeted engagements and further Dinner Talks editions.

We also co-organized the 5th Kosovo Peace and Democracy Summit (KPDS), bringing together civil society, policymakers and international experts to reflect on the challenges facing peace, democracy and Kosovo-Serbia normalization, and the role of civil society in sustaining dialogue and rebuilding trust.

Both initiatives reflect our commitment to keeping channels of dialogue open, bridging political and societal divides, and advancing normalization even in challenging times.

The Institute thanks our KCA partners and to the New Social Initiative (NSI) for their excellent partnership.
