Alessandro Collalto

Alessandro joined the Institute in April 2025 as a Communications and Fundraising Intern.

Before joining the Institute, he worked on film sets as a Production Assistant and independently produced short films, with experience in screenwriting, video editing, and sound design. He also worked as a social media manager for local businesses in Rome, developing communication strategies and digital content.

He recently completed the first year of her Master’s degree in Transnational Governance at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Media, during which he also completed an Erasmus exchange at MCAST in Malta. His thesis, titled “Pain and Propaganda in Ukraine’s War,” analyzed the role of pain and propaganda in wartime narratives through two documentaries on the conflict in Ukraine. He speaks Italian, English, and Spanish.
