Amy Dallas

Amy Dallas joined the European Institute of Peace as Environmental Peacemaking Programme Assistant in March 2022. She is working primarily on environmental peacemaking initiatives in the Sahel region, Somalia, and Yemen.

Having gained her degree in Interpreting and Translation from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, she is able to work in French and Spanish, as well as in her mother tongue English.

Amy’s background lies in the field of humanitarian assistance. Prior to joining EIP, she worked for Oxfam International on institutional partnerships, and for the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid Office (DG ECHO), where she focused on the delivery of aid in east and southern Africa. Additionally, she has lent her translation skills to various non-profit organisations.
