Audrey Williams

Audrey Williams is a Programme Officer at the European Institute of Peace, where she coordinates dialogue and mediation initiatives in Yemen within the Engagement, Dialogue, and Process Design (EDP) Unit. 

Prior to joining the Institute in July 2023, Audrey worked in North Africa for over four years with the United States Institute of Peace, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs). She supported the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and governance initiatives in Libya and Tunisia, including on local dialogue and reconciliation, security sector reform, preventing violent extremism, and elections. Previously, she held various positions in the fields of humanitarian relief, human rights, and gender with INGOs, local non-profits and government.  

Audrey developed a specialization in inclusive peace processes through her MSc in Gender, Peace and Security from the London School of Economics. She also studied at Trinity College Dublin and Science Po Paris, and speaks English, French and Spanish.
