Charlotte Holmes

Charlotte Holmes joined the Institute in April 2024 as part of a Research and Innovation placement partnership with the European University Institute (EUI).  Her role within the Institute spans across units working in the Executive Director’s office, supporting the Public Affairs and Communications Officer on strategies and outputs, as well as contributing to the Institutes work in Asia Programme within the Engagement, Dialogue and Process Design (EDP) Unit.

Currently pursuing her Master’s at the EUI – School of Transnational Governance in Florence, Italy, Charlotte’s academic focus revolves around understanding the complexities of global challenges and governance. Specifically, her work has focused on security matters and the application of emerging technologies as PeaceTech solutions. Her educational background includes a BComm specialising in Journalism and Digital Media, with her previous work aimed at providing a platform for people and their stories while building bridges and fostering connections.

She is enthusiastic about contributing her skills, knowledge and dedication to the team.
