Cindy Saade

Cindy Saade joined the European Institute of Peace in September 2025 as a Conflict, Justice and Reconciliation (CJR) Programme Intern within the Peace Process and Innovation Unit. She supports EIP projects on Syria and Iraq through research, briefings, media monitoring, and translating relevant information from Arabic to English.
Prior to joining EIP, she gained research experience on MENA policy and sustainability projects in Beirut. She holds a Master’s degree in Global Security and Strategy from the Brussels School of Governance and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Affairs from the Lebanese American University. Her research interests include EU-Middle East relations, conflict resolution, foreign influence in post-conflict states, and political dynamics in the Middle East. She speaks Arabic, French, and English.
