Gabriele Tallone
Gabriele Tallone is a Manager in the Europe Programme at the European Institute of Peace (EIP), focusing on Ukraine and Moldova. He has been with the Institute since 2017 and has previously worked on the Horn of Africa, Afghanistan, Israel–Palestine and Colombia, as well as on mediation support and the political economy of conflicts.
He works to make EU enlargement a more inclusive and beneficial process for the societies pursuing it. His work creates space for dialogue across political divides and addresses the diplomatic and security questions that arise as countries move towards EU membership.
He studied political philosophy at the University of Turin and the University of Warwick, and holds an MA in European Studies from KU Leuven and an advanced MA from the College of Europe, where he specialised in EU foreign policy and enlargement.
