Lia Conceicao
Lia Conceicao is a Programme Assistant of the Responding to Violent Extremism team at the European Institute of Peace, covering projects in Ethiopia and Somalia. Before joining the Institute, Lia was a Schuman Trainee at DG EXPO in the European Parliament, and a UNV in countering the trafficking of persons and smuggling of migrants at the UNODC regional office for West Africa in Dakar, Senegal.
She holds a MA in Cultural Diplomacy and International Relations from the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, Germany, and a BA in Political Science from Barry University in Miami, USA.
