MIRIAM ØSTERGAARD Reifferscheidt
Miriam Østergaard Reifferscheidt is Senior Gender and Peacemaking Officer at the European Institute of Peace. In this capacity she focuses on the implementation of the Institute’s Gender and Peacemaking Strategy, including designing and supporting programmes to be enhancing and inclusive of women’s meaningful participation and providing input to the Gender, Peace and Security (GPS) and Women, Peace and Security (WPS) policy development at EU level. Prior to her role at the Institute she worked in UN Women’s Nordic Liaison Office. She holds a Master of Political Science from Copenhagen University and an Academic Certification in Gender Studies as a result of her specialisation in Gender Studies as part of her Master’s degree.
