Nicolai Stuyvenberg joined the European Institute of Peace in September 2025 as an Eastern Neighbourhood intern within the Engagement, Dialogue, and Process Design unit. In this role, he supports the team’s projects in Ukraine, Moldova, and the Western Balkans through research, institutional mapping, and the management of internal documentation.

He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Global Security & Strategy at the Brussels School of Governance and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a specialisation in International Relations, from the University of Amsterdam. He has previously worked in communications for an NGO promoting Norway–India bilateral relations in Oslo and recently co-founded a youth policy platform focusing on security, defence, and foreign policy issues.
