Pauline Chauveau

Pauline Chauveau is a Middle East and Gulf Programme Officer at the European Institute of Peace, supporting the Levant file. She joined the Institute as of April 2024 covering initiatives that enhanced women’s participation in conflict resolution and peacemaking processes to foster more sustainable and inclusive peace efforts and outcomes, including in contexts such as Syria and Yemen.

Pauline has provided policy and programmatic support to a wide range of peacebuilding initiatives addressing intersecting dimensions of equality, including with the Governance and Peacebuilding team at UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub and providing expertise to the European Commission’s DG INTPA Directorate for Human Development, Migration, Governance and Peace. She has worked with civil society organisations such as the European Network of Equality Bodies (EQUINET) and Reporters without Borders, as well as the private sector in a leading consultancy in the field of Human Rights, Democracy and Peace, GOPA Pace. Pauline obtained her Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution Master’s degree from Paris Dauphine University and the Ecole Normale Supérieure (PSL) in France.
