Pauline Chauveau
Pauline Chauveau joined the European Institute of Peace as the Gender and Peacemaking Programme Officer in March 2024. In her role Pauline is responsible for the “Breaking Barriers, Making Peace: Advancing Women’s Meaningful Participation in Peace Processes” project. She studied conflict resolution and gender in the frame of her Peace Studies Master’s degree at Paris Dauphine University (PSL) and the Ecole Normale Supérieure.
Since then, Pauline has provided support to a wide range of international peacebuilding initiatives aiming to address intersecting dimensions of equality. Most notably, she provided policy and programmatic support to several peace-building and reconciliation efforts in the Europe and Central Asia (ECIS) region while working at the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub. She supported the European Commission’s Task Force on Equality in applying an intersectional approach to equality in EU policies. Pauline also managed projects for one of the leading consulting companies in the field of Human Rights, Democracy and Peace, at B&S Europe. In her previous work she has also engaged with civil society actors, such as the European Network of Equality Bodies and the NGO Reporters without borders.
