Sophia Gajan
Sophia is a Gender and Peacemaking Programme Assistant at the European Institute of Peace.
Before joining the Institute in June 2021, she worked at the Office of Gender Advisor at NATO’s International Military Staff and interned with the Gender Team at the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime.
Sophia holds an M.A. in Humanitarian Action and Conflict from Uppsala University and an L.L.B. in Law and Diplomacy from Riga Graduate School of Law. A native German speaker, Sophia is also fluent in English and Swedish and has an intermediate level in French and Russian.
