Our people

Yannick Lilie joined the European Institute of Peace in March 2025 as the Personal Assistant to the Deputy Executive Director and Director of the Engagement, Dialogue and Process Facilitation Unit. In this role, he keeps an overview of all files and supports the work on the Middle East peace process.

Prior to joining the Institute, Yannick worked at the European Centre of Excellence for Civilian Crisis Management (CoE) on Knowledge Management as a Junior Policy Officer, focussing on civilian CSDP. He previously worked for MSF, among others.

Yannick holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution in Divided Societies from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Free University Berlin. He speaks German and English.
