Zachary Prentice
Zachary Prentice joined the European Institute of Peace in September 2026 as a Policy Trainee in the Brussels office, working on European Affairs, Political Economy and AI.
Recently graduated from King’s College London with an MSc in Statistics and Data Science, Zachary also holds a BA (Honours) in Political Science and Economics from McGill University, Montreal. He previously interned at the Belgian Permanent Representation to the UN in Geneva, working across the WTO, WIPO, ITU and ILO.
His interests centre on the intersection of geopolitics and resource security — energy security, critical minerals and supply chains — alongside the governance challenges raised by emerging technology.
A UK/Belgian dual national, Zachary is English/French bilingual with more than a smattering of Flemish.
