The Institute announces a strategic partnership with the Nabni Facility for policy engagement and learning

06/07/2026

The European Institute of Peace is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Nabni/Building for Peace Facility, focused on strengthening learning, knowledge exchange and global engagement.

The partnership brings together two organisations with complementary expertise and a shared commitment to supporting locally led peacebuilding and bottom-up approaches to post-conflict recovery and development. The collaboration aims to contribute to stronger evidence, learning and dialogue across the humanitarian-development-peace (HDP) nexus, building on the joint expertise of Nabni and its partners in Iraq, Yemen and Syria and the Institute’s experience in dialogue, mediation, process facilitation and policy engagement in the Middle East region and beyond.

The collaboration will focus on translating practical experience into evidence that can foster exchange between practitioners, analysts and decision-makers. The partnership also creates new opportunities to jointly engage with regional and international policy discussions, communities of practice and sector discussions. By amplifying lessons emerging from the MENA region and connecting them with global fora, the Institute and Nabni seek to continue to strengthen dialogue on effective, locally led approaches to peacebuilding and development.

Based in Jordan, the Nabni Facility aims to support locally led reconstruction processes in the Middle East and North Africa, region, working exclusively with local civil society organisations, promoting and strengthening peace in communities.
